It's December 31st, and I'm wondering how I'm going to make my New Year's Resolutions? The concept of “new year, new me” has faded. At the age of 27, that trend of creating a new “self” is just not realistic for me anymore. I’ve grown so much over the years and most of the change I've made, needs to come with me into the new year.
In the beginning of 2021, I was told I had stomach damage from medications I was taking for other health issues. From having surgery, trying to keep a healthier diet and fighting through the continuous seasons of COVID; living life is all I focused on. I took a trip or enjoyed a new experience every month of the year. I focused on healing and tapping into my divine energy. Honestly, I'm proud of myself for making it through 2021.
After a year like this, the word "resolution" just doesn't do it for me. Resolutions have become a way for many to reflect and make plans for the future, forgive themselves of past transgressions, hitting the reset button on certain things that didn’t quite work out as planned (beware not everything needs a reset), and starting the new year ready to accomplish new goals. Well I want that all, plus some.
My goals are to continue my journey of self-discovery, continue to heal, increase my brand awareness, practice better ways to parent, secure a "whole lotta" bags and LIVE MY BEST BOSS LIFE! I’m ready. So, this year I won’t call it resolutions. I’ll call it BOSS MOVES, because that’s all I want to make in my life right now. I want to continue to be a BOSS in my businesses and my personal life. “It's time to boss up Fix ya credit, girl get at it, get ya bag up, hit that gym and get back fine”.
This year is about making boss moves, let’s throw out “resolutions” and let’s set our intentions and goals for the upcoming BOSS year!
