LET'S BE REAL: LET'S TALK REAL TALK

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to read all the questions you guys have asked. I started this column to answer any question you have about fashion, beauty, motherhood, relationships, travel, entrepreneurship, anything. I’m going to try to answer them in as much detail as I can. If there are any questions I missed, please click the link at the bottom of the post.

You should do a "boyfriend rates my outfits" video on your YouTube!

That's a great idea! Even though I prefer to keep my relationship private, I would definitely consider doing a special guest "Rate My Outfit" video on Youtube. Subscribe to my channel for updates! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNuRm_wx1cj0d_D_StZBSSA?view_as=subscriber

I'm looking to start my own boutique. Can you give some tips on finding products to sale?

Entrepreneurship is amazing! I commend you for wanting to open your boutique. I get this question a lot and I am excited to announce that I will be releasing an exclusive vendor list and business plan for individuals looking to launch their own boutique. The release date is being set. Please be sure to subscribe to my blog for more details!

How do you deal with walking away from bad friendships?

Understand this, some people are meant for a millennium and some are meant for a season. I’ve lost friends over the years. Many I simply outgrew and that's ok! I'm in the business of filling my life with positivity and growth, and not everyone shared that same want. Which is honestly ok. People are human, they’re flawed and they’re trying to figure life out, just as I am. Sometimes we don't realize that who we surround ourselves with is the reason we never quiet grow in the direction we want to. A conversation isn't always required to walk away from a friendship. Once a person see's you doing something different, hanging around new people, doing new things, they'll get the point.

Hey! Came across your blog and I love it! Here's "the tea": I am pregnant, due any day now, and I just found out that my boyfriend has been cheating on me my entire pregnancy. I'm embarrassed to tell anybody because I don't wanna hear the "I told you so" stuff from my family and friends. What do I do? How can I get over this and move forward for me and my baby without him? I am also afraid of getting postpartum depression. Have you dealt with this? What would you suggest? Sorry if I am getting too personal I just really needed somewhere to turn, and reading your story truly inspires me so hopefully being a mom and dealing with relationships, you can offer some words of wisdom.

Hey love. I appreciate you reading my blog and coming to me for advice. I commend you for staying strong during such a difficult time. Pregnancy is NOT easy and when you have little to no support it can feel like you're all alone. I definitely understand what you're going through. I too faced a similar situation with my first pregnancy.

Don't feel embarrassed. You are not to blame and no else's opinion matter. Moving forward may seem hard but trust me I know from experience, it's only as hard as you make it. You and your baby deserve peace and happiness and as long as you vow to hold on to that, no one or nothing will interfere. Us women have this natural feeling of wanting to be a family with our children's father and live happily ever after, but sometimes it doesn't work out that way. After the hardship our bodies face with delivery, the lack of sleep and anxiety of losing our identity, your fear of postpartum depression is normal. The best advice I can give you is to stay busy with purpose.

Focus on yourself. Figure out what it is you want out of your life and go for it. Us moms tend to get so wrapped up in our babies, so much so that we lose ourselves. Know that you can be an amazing mom and still live for yourself! To me, being the best mother means being your best self.

Sleep when the baby is sleep!!! It's going to be hard but trust me getting as much rest as you can will benefit you and the baby.

Lastly, know you're not alone! There are many mom to mom organizations and support groups you can join. Trust me this helps!

I wish you a peaceful remainder of this pregnancy and a pray you have a safe and quick delivery. Welcome to motherhood my love. XOXO
