FASHION IN DETROIT: DREAM RUNWAY FASHION SHOW 8TH EDITION
As fashion influencers, designers and supporters packed Saint Andrews Memorial Episcopal Church, local designers had the opportunity to showcase their unique creations and passions on the runway and at exhibit booths. Right here in Detroit on Wayne States Campus!
Dream Runway Fashion Show has become known for showcasing exceptional designers, I had the pleasure in covering the event and highlighted a few.

With a clash of cozy chic designs, Kanaya Monet definitely graced the room with fashion trends of the new millennial woman. MiiYete Fall/Winter17 collection displayed how comfy knits can be the new glamour this upcoming season. Fashion is moving for comfort, all while retaining its sense of fun and color.
Colors in this collection were mostly Butter Rum and soft Nudes, Autumn Maples over classic Blacks and Browns, Rust mixed with Grenadine Reds, or Golden Limes and Greens paired with off Whites. The show opened with an amiable oversized off-the-shoulder poncho -- free flowing in wool knit fabrics, paired with tall-thigh-high boots.
With fine geometric designs paired with off-whites and nudes and browns this collection unquestionably inspires you to look forward to much cooler weather to come.
